A cozinha na TV
10/09/14 02:23Assisti na TV ao primeiro “MasterChef” brasileiro, na Band (terças, às 22h45). Sei que é um programa de muito sucesso e que vende seu formato para outros países que o usam com pequenas adaptações necessárias.
É o tipo de programa que gente da cozinha fala mal, mas assiste quando pode. Falamos mal por quê? Porque o programa é mais de relações humanas do que de comida. Não dá prioridade à comida, mas sim à rapidez e à competitividade dos cozinheiros. Desde quando ser rápido e competitivo faz um bom chef? E, se você gosta mesmo do assunto, fica meio chateado por não ter aprendido a fazer aquele bacon doce que ganhou a prova.
A inovação foi a participação de um membro da família do candidato dando força, atrapalhando, ajudando. Vamos ver se essa parte convence, se se aguenta. Talvez, não.
Enfim, esse primeiro “MasterChef” teve seus problemas, pois eram 300 de onde seriam escolhidos 50. Foi no Pacaembu, onde mais? Parecia um musical dos anos 1950, de tanta gente junta, cozinhando ao ar livre. Os 50 que ganhassem a colher de pau estavam classificados. Coisa demais para um programa só, mas entrando na rotina aposto que vai ser bom, divertido, bem feito.
Gostei. O júri está ótimo, impagável. Duas pessoas conheço muito, o Erick Jacquin, que imediatamente achou seu lugar na vida. Ator de TV. Um tipo.
Cozinha bem, muito bem, principalmente “foies”, e, para minha surpresa, tem uma imagem televisiva formidável. Vai longe. Emburrado, gordo, comilão, manteiga derretida por dentro, chapéu a calhar. Incrível, parabéns, Jacquin.
Paola Carosella é outra feita para brilhar. Mas já era de se esperar. Faz a parte feminina que abranda e adoça, que entende os cozinheiros, humana, sexy, bonita, mas é muito macho como uma jurada de verdade, não tem problema em falar “não” e fim de assunto. Muito interessante. Natural, segura.
O único que eu não conhecia é o do restaurante Sal, um tipo descolado, meio Atala, forte, tatuado, articulado, Henrique Fogaça, mas imaginem que chorou apesar daquela braveza toda.
Acho que seria impensável em qualquer lugar do mundo um membro do júri chorar por causa do discurso de uma candidata que sente seu Estado relegado e esquecido. Uma coisa assim meio parecida àquela camisa do Neymar no campo depois que ele se machucou. Mas aqui no Brasil é assim e pronto. O que mostra que o programa, apesar de ser uma cópia, tem uma cara bem brasileira.
Só que, pelamordedeus, nada de gritaria como no “Big Brother”. Não somos assim, ou não éramos assim, até ontem; desde quando ao ganharmos uma colher de pau ou um avental gritamos a toda altura, pulamos a grande altura, e todos “uuuuuuuu” à nossa volta? Que pesadelo. Vá que a gente se acostume, que terror!
Me parece também haver uma confusão difícil de acertar, pois esse “MasterChef” é de comida caseira e a maioria dos candidatos apresentou a comida em prato individual com uma decoração de restaurante. É que fica tão difícil apresentar aquele prato misturado que comemos de verdade, não é? Vamos ver como se vai resolver isso, tanto no programa como na vida de todo dia.

This is getting a bit more subjective, but I much prefer the Zune Marketplace. The interface is colorful, has more flair, and some cool features like ‘Mixview’ that let you quickly see related albums, songs, or other users related to what you’re listening to. Clicking on one of those will center on that item, and another set of “neighbors” will come into view, allowing you to navigate around exploring by similar artists, songs, or users. Speaking of users, the Zune “Social” is also great fun, letting you find others with shared tastes and becoming friends with them. You then can listen to a playlist created based on an amalgamation of what all your friends are listening to, which is also enjoyable. Those concerned with privacy will be relieved to know you can prevent the public from seeing your personal listening habits if you so choose.

The Zune concentrates on being a Portable Media Player. Not a web browser. Not a game machine. Maybe in the future it’ll do even better in those areas, but for now it’s a fantastic way to organize and listen to your music and videos, and is without peer in that regard. The iPod’s strengths are its web browsing and apps. If those sound more compelling, perhaps it is your best choice.
