As maritacas no café da manhã

O meu jardim, 4 por 4, andava bem para o seco. Agradeceu as chuvas com tamanha sofreguidão que fiquei até com pena. A trepadeira com flores vermelhas se abriu toda, os jasmins-do-cabo cheiraram adoidados, tudo ensandeceu tentando dar de si o melhor. Até o guaco, que só cheira de vez em quando, agora fica parado no ar quente curando as tosses do mundo.

Nunca pensei que chegaria a ver as frutas e comi pratos delas, pretinhas, sabe, daquele jeito que se come jabuticaba, desprezando as médias e pequenas e escolhendo as graúdas. Daí acabam as grandes, e as médias passam a ser as maiores e depois as pequenas, bem docinhas, até.
E indo almoçar na dona da Dona Filipa (vejam, cabe um marketing em tudo que fazemos). A Dona Filipa é uma casa que aluga louça para festas, muito bom gosto, uma infinidade de acessórios para mesa. Propaganda gratuita porque alugamos a maioria da nossa louça com a Teresa, da Da Casa, e eu nunca soube porque paramos de alugar na Casa das Festas com a Fernanda e o Wilson, agora donos do La Table, casal mais eficiente, responsável, inteligente, engraçado e generoso… Acho que foi macumba.
Bom, fica para outro dia essa história de casas de aluguel de louça, parte das mais importantes de um bufê, e voltemos ao café da manhã. É que no almoço da Dona Filipa havia uma casinha junto da sala, casinha de passarinho, onde se reuniam maritacas verdes, estridentes, comendo sementes de girassol, descascando com os pezinhos, jogando a casca fora, é possível…
Fiquei doida de inveja das maritacas. Chegando em casa, contei para o seu Antonio, que armou uma geringonça desequilibrada com dois bambus, um cabo de vassoura, um prato de vaso de cerâmica que chamou todas as maritacas do bairro.
Meu Deus, acordar de manhã com aquela sinfonia em verde (falta um fundo infinito, ficam disfarçadas contra o verde) dá uma alegria profunda. E depois os pensamentos vão ficando mais lúgubres, pensando que as guerras são inevitáveis, pois as maritacas não deixam nem mortas que uma pobre rolinha vá compartilhar das sementes. A rolinha fica no chão, bicando as cascas, e as outras malucas numa conversa de comadres infindável.
As duas galinhas ficam presas numa casa de cachorro enorme que uma cliente amiga me deu, porque são, com o perdão da palavra, burras. Galinha é burra. Dizem que não, há provas científicas de que não, mas grandes atrizes disfarçam na perfeição. Na hora em que os vizinhos estão naquele sono gostoso da madrugada elas acordam para a vida. Acho que fabricam o ovo com aqueles sons peculiares que as galinhas têm.
Cruzes, a brisa está carregada do cheiro de vaselina das boninas. Boninas. Acho o nome Nina mais bonito que Rita. E o nome mais lindo que conheço é Carolina Mandarina.
