“André”, disse ela ao filho, “levante o prato para eu não derrubar o caldo na toalha.” O “boeuf en daube” fora mesmo um sucesso. Todos repetiram, apaziguados.
O orientando mais velho perguntou a ela se queria um pêssego. “Ah, não, não quero” —na verdade, esperava que ninguém comesse um, para não destruir o momento captado sem querer.
